At the #nokings rally in Studio City today, roughly at Laurel Canyon and Ventura Blvd. Everybody was polite, yielding, friendly, and as I tried to clean up trash at the end, I was even more surprised that sooo many people kept the protest area CLEAN! There was so little protest garbage anywhere!

Musk's Mars ambition makes me assume that our existence on Earth is fucked. If it is, I'm not sure how a rich white guy is going to make things better on the next planet over, unless he has lessers to exploit.

My take as a writer: being a visual artist is a special skill, b/c most people aren't taught to draw. Contrast: Most people are taught how to write words and sentences, so there is a subconscious belief that, well, *anybody* can write. They don't recognize the artistic aspect of writing as special.
