Maybe not so much. M. blamed Upstate NY for taking revenue from the City and conspired with Gov Hochul to fund childcare in NYC without raising taxes to the detriment of other equally deserving constituencies.

This is what Donald Trump used to say about war.

Credit agencies told me: "You should get more loans to increase your credit score."

The system punishes you for not owing any money.

They want you in debt forever.

Credit scoring is one of the biggest scams.

The people celebrating the bombing of Iran know nothing of the horrors of war. They've never watched a friend ripped apart by explosives.

1970s: the State bailed out NYC with Stock Transfer Tax proceeds. The Tax was then ended. 1980s: finance, leveraged buyouts, and private equity rose. Formerly prosperous communities outside NYC were devastated. Wealth grew in NYC. No wonder personal income tax receipts from NYC are higher now.

Democratic U.S. Senator Chris Coons said he did not see how regime change in Iran could happen with the current operation. "There's no example I know of in modern history where regime change has happened solely through air strikes," Coons said on CNN's "State of the Union" program.

Now you know why we are where we are today. Last year, he said we destroyed Iran's nuclear capabilities. That was another lie.

The Constitution is clear: Congress may declare war, and the President as Commander-in-chief prosecutes the war. The President may not create war. But the law in this land is what the Supreme Court says it is, the language of the Constitution notwithstanding.

Gov Hochul is giving a $5 million tax credit to a sports betting platform to “create jobs” in NYC when gambling addiction, particularly among young men, is on the ruse. This is insane. The “socialist” mayor should oppose it.

Chris, you’re great. But I have little confidence in my own Party, which is in leadership among both House and Senate Dems.

In the time of FDR, there were Americans among tge elite who believed they had a responsibility to make life better for all Americans. That mindset no longer exists.

U.S. military spending is set to hit a record $1.5 trillion.

Roughly half of defense spending goes to private contractors that routinely price-gouge the government.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon has failed EIGHT straight audits.

In the 1970s, NYS bailed out NYC. Then came the financialization of the economy. Leveraged buyouts etc hollowed out the Upstate economy. The economic gains went to NYC wealth. A 2% increase in the City tax on the wealthy is just. Diverting scarce resources from the NYS budget to the City is not.
