The Restoration of Notre-Dame De Paris
Lead Chief Architect Philippe Villeneuve will be in Victoria to talk about the restoration of Notre-Dame.
We hope many people will be able to join us at this free event on April 8th.

The first image is a 16th century pair of folding screens with birds and flowers of the seasons
The second is a current picture of Jindai Zakura (Japan) a cherry tree estimated to be 1800-2000 years old
And lastly, a poem attributed to Nijo Tameyo in the early 14th century, a rare murasame-gire

An interesting article about three women samurai and their fierce fighting spirit from National Geographic.
Although I had heard about women samurai, I had not read anything about their experiences before.
