The Undiscovered Country Born in Covid lockdown, The Exodus Ensemble is shaking the New Mexico desert with immersive work, including their new ‘HAMLET.’

The immersive Viewpoints-inspired productions of The Exodus Ensemble, including this year's take on HAMLET, arose when a bunch of DePaul Theatre grads, their plans upended by the pandemic, gathered in the New Mexico desert to reimagine why, how, and for whom they make theatre. Damon Kiely reports.
