I miss when they were for (relatively) clean dissemination of text, said text often the result of some devotee's fascinated or fevered mind. Deep-dive alt history timelines extending until the heat death of the universe, and so on.

I have to admit, from a purely technological standpoint, generative AI is pretty cool. It's also very interesting to play with it to try to get it to do what you want it to do.

Last night I dreamed I ate a pot brownie and got super high. In the dream, I felt chill and fuzzy and happy. That is to say, I felt well-stoned. Then I woke up as per usual, without any aftereffects or the paranoia that explain why I don't actually eat pot brownies.
