My experience of a European driving in Calgary for a week (helping ferry my niece around) was the absence of any bikes or bike lanes, the roads were dominated by huge SUVs, largely stuck in traffic.

We try to be genuinely innovative. Previous projects have included a poly-tunnel in a nearby community agriculture scheme, a series of energy audits and insulation in public buildings and helping a cider maker who uses dropped apples that would otherwise go to waste.

My late father gave me the following advice when I started work.

"Be nice to the people you meet going up, as you may well meet them again going down".

Its a well known saying - so surprised @teamlabouruk.bsky.social don't seem to have heard of it.

It’s a truly shocking article and highlights that poverty and inequality reduce life expectancy.

It’s been a lot of work by many people but our single website is now out. We thought a lot about what people would want to see, and ways we share information in accessible ways. It’s about being open and transparent in how we operate.

Just to add that Rachael, Noora and Jess were absolute stars. Talking with colleagues across Europe about renewables sector in the UK.

For anyone who may have missed it on our website or LinkedIn - you have this weekend left to apply for our Renewable Energy Project Manager role based in the East Midlands/Yorkshire region. Lots of exciting projects in the pipeline in that area.

We did something similar (in Charlbury) the house is cooler in summer, and a warm even temperature in winter - and uses 1/4 of energy (and cost) of before.
