How did the Enola Gay's crew live with bombing Hiroshima?
Their story is not one of monsters or saints, but of men caught in the furnace of global conflict, making choices within a war.
#Hiroshima quickened the war's end and saved millions of lives. But it came at a price. My piece in @thespectator1828.bsky.social @scribnerbooks.bsky.social @littlebrown.bsky.social @WstoneTenterden @theresthistory.bsky.social www.spectator.co.uk/article/how-...

Another lovely audience at @WaterstonesRose. Super keen to ask questions & was introduced to the 'author wall'. Best thing of the evening? Spending a while afterwards simply chewing the fat with the staff about our industry - all great book people who work VERY hard.
