I drew this after the April 5 protest. One man remained in silence after everyone left. His sign stated that DOGE ended his lifelong career serving our country. He stood resolute as cars rolled by, no more horn blowing or chanting or cheering. Just reality.

Such a great song. I choreographed a dance to it a couple years ago. Feeling that song.

So beautiful. Made me cry.

My back yard carrion friends have returned.

Sometimes we dance to beautiful, joyful songs and sometimes we move to metal. But we keep dancing. I have danced throughout my life, running a studio for a couple of decades. Trust me - dance will improve your life. Empower and invigorate. Keep you alive. This is the experience I have lived.

You see, I know a bit of what it’s like to be politically scapegoated. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941, suddenly anyone in America who had any amount of Japanese ancestry became suspect. Politicians preyed upon ignorance and fear. /1
