To put this in context: Consistently, about 13 percent of Americans believe in Bigfoot. So war with Iran polls slightly better than Bigfoot.

They did a much better job selling the WMD story back in the day than today’s version.

Welp.

Running your war from a private club for millionaires β€” ahead of a $1 million-a-plate dinner β€” is a choice.

The government illegally took your money.

They won’t give it back.

if you believe in any form of free enterprise at all, the idea that the Pentagon can not only cut off your contract but designate you a supply chain risk and prevent other companies from buying from you just because you won't build killbots for the government should be terrifying

So let’s think about this.

A private company refused - on principle - to yield to the government’s demands.

The government then cancelled its contracts with the company and has set about destroying it

You sound like an unhinged person if you in plain words describe what’s happening, but the Trump admin demanded Anthropic’s AI be able to kill things for it w/out human approval and also do mass surveillance.

Anthropic said no, and now the admin is trying to destroy the company in retaliation.

Question 1 is β€œHow do tariffs work?”

FFS.

Stockdale - a Navy A-4 pilot - studied the Stoics at Stanford. He was later shot down and held for 7 years in North Vietnam. He credited his studies with helping him survive.

He received the Medal of Honor in 1976.

If all you know of him is from later life, look again

27.02.2026 22:32 β€” πŸ‘ 546    πŸ” 89    πŸ’¬ 13    πŸ“Œ 2

Nope - look up his study of the Stoics at Stanford and how that got him through captivity in Vietnam.

Look it up.

I’ll wait.

The recent Decision of the United States Supreme Court concerning TARIFFS could allow for Hundreds of Billions of Dollars to be returned to Countries and Companies that have been β€œripping off” the United States of America for many years to come, and now, according to this Decision, could actually continue to do so, at an even increased level. I am sure that the Supreme Court did not have this in mind! It doesn’t make sense that Countries and Companies that took advantage of us for decades, receiving Billions and Billions of Dollars that they should not have been allowed to receive, would now be entitled to an undeserved β€œwindfall,” the likes of which the World has never seen before, as a result of this highly disappointing, to say the least, ruling. Is a Rehearing or Readjudication of this case possible??? PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP

The functional equivalent of firing top-tier scientists from the government because they aren’t loyalists.
