Me too! In fact I had to take a massive hiatus because I have been sooooo overwhelmed by things and stuff. But I definitely enjoy seeing what both of you post in all the various spaces. ❤️

It gets easier every time. Not pleasant, but I am trying to worry less about pleasing others to my own detriment these days. And I stand by every decision I made to stand up and/or walk away, even if I was the only one who felt that way about someone.

But yeah, there have been times I have avoided attending group meetings if I knew someone "off" would be there and would be tolerated because they were just really uncomfortable to be around or were disrespectful to me. And I have been the "asshole" who stood up for myself and others too.

I really empathized with what you wrote about how we in marginalized spaces often tolerate weirdness. Definitely hit home because I think so many of us have been on the outside, we don't want to exclude others just because they're a little odd. But the backlash of speaking up is also too familiar. ❤️
