Okay so I have this theory.
Lucifer took the fall for Lilith. I don't think he was as complacent in it than just hoping better for humanity. Maybe Lilith didn't tell him the truth of what the apple did either, or maybe he willingly stood in front to take the blame so heaven wouldn't smite Lilith. 🤔
