I often wonder why others are so uncurious. It’s always seemed like a character flaw to me, like they want to just exist and not know more?? Guess maybe I’m the outlier. 😅

The amount that I love someone’s game is proportionate to how much my brain short-circuits while attempting to speak with them. I ran into Sandfall’s CEO Guillaume Broche at Unreal Fest and I *think* I said something coherent in there, but most of it was blabbering about loving Clair Obscur.

One of the game dev speakers at the #UnrealFest opening remarks said that they partially got their start making minigames in Minecraft. I love that there’s going to be a whole generation of new game devs who got their start in the blocky sandbox. I can’t wait to see what they make.

The business model is that it distributes the card to the player who paid and they have something to hang onto. Our machine is on freeplay because we’re an office that coordinated making the thing, not an arcade. We’re not using it as intended, so I don’t get your comment.

I’m honestly not sure what to do with these. This is what happens when your Dungeons arcade machine is on freeplay for like two years. 😅 Once they’re dispensed they’re done, in-house freeplay is not the intended use model!

I wonder if there’s a measurable hit to sales over time due to the things he says. It costs nothing to just not say things. This is consistently ridiculous.

The modern day connections in the AC series are part of the reason I play them starting with “eagle vision works in real life??” in AC1. The segments allow us to examine the historical context of events you’re reenacting. Without them we lose a cool hook and background plot and I am less interested.

The only people who can help with player issues are the player support team. No one outside of them have the tools or experience to help with account issues.

They were good? For me it was a toss up between starting that and Expeditionary Force, and EF sadly got stale pretty quickly.

Maybe, but I’m not sure this isn’t their intent. I’d have said the same thing about the Dark Souls games, but apparently they’re supposed to be like that 😂

I came back to the boss I’d been stuck on at the end of act 1. Must’ve taken 30 tries. By the end, the runback was flawless and I was dodging everything. I don’t know how to feel about that. Obviously I learned something, but the game demands that you learn it, rather than just participate.

Today I’m going out to touch grass. Mostly because I need some of my weekend to relax and not play the same game for 2.5 days, but also because my left thumb tip (thanks D-pad) and my right thumb muscle and wrist feel stressed enough I actually don’t want to push it. 😂
