It really sucks to see NBC Washington post a reel on Instagram that takes credit for sharing the DOGE USIP raid body cam footage with the world. They mention The Handbasket in the caption knowing full well that all people are going to see is the video. Pretty shameless.

Guys they announced the deployment in December, and the start of the joint operations earlier this week. They aren't hiding it.

I've seen a few people ask if it's an invasion. No, joint operations, Ecuador's government is fully on board with this. Still unclear how many US forces are in the country, but these do appear to be the first operations inside South America since the attack on Venezuela.

They really are telegraphing this.

Keep in mind there are still significant US forces in the Caribbean, even after some fighter jets and the Ford carrier strike group were sent to the Middle East.
