Currently they are in a vassal kingdom called Bloodroost. Led by a strange large group of nobles who may or may not be entirely comprised of vampires who have a secret livestock underground where they grind people up into a fine blood paste for consumption

It's pretty much entirely homebrew. It takes place in a world called Althir in a continent named Moore.

The campaign follows a party brought together by a goal of finding these puzzle pieces (Keys) to an ethereal jail holding something unimaginable, lest they be killed.
