When your whole identity is tied up in 1 thing, u fight for it w/ all of your being whether ur right or wrong because who are u if ur not what you’ve become. Even if u know ur wrong you’ll fight tooth & nail to protect who u think u are.
Choose variety instead, it’s more fun & keeps u open minded.
Your frustration seems more than fair. Continue the conversations as long as you’re being heard and listened to. Remember your value!
