#BlackHistory Did you know? Oliver Lewis was the first Black jockey to win the KY Derby, riding Aristides to victory in the inaugural race on May 17, 1875. He won by two lengths in front of 10,000 spectators at Churchill Downs. He was one of 13 Black jockeys in the field.

And now I truly, honestly know what this president thinks of black people like me...we're "apes". Well, all humans technically are apes, but he meant it as a vile insult. One day, he will have to answer for that. And so will all of you who blindly support this foolishness.

#BlackHistory Did you know? In Kentucky, Cherokee State Park, now known as Kentucky Lake Park in Aurora (Marshall County), was the only state park blacks were allowed to go to? Marshall County was known as a "sundown county" meaning blacks were only allowed in the park area.

How tragic for Marshawn Kneeland. Only 24 yrs old, on top of the world playing for Dallas Cowboys, yet he takes his own life. U never know what people are dealing with. Don't be afraid to say U need help. Take care of your mental. Talk about it.
