having a house is rich people things, let's be real

things I viewed as "rich people things" as a kid that now seem silly:

- finished basements
- 2+ floors
- pools
- large living rooms
- white/cold lighting
- granite countertops

It seems like a commonality that oftentimes the same people that like to get mad at the slightest chance that the constitution is being ignored are the same people ignoring the first amendment

and you might be like "but August, it's just a silly lil life simulation game"

and you'd be right! however, it has me screaming at 3am bc my Sims won't do what I tell them to and then either die or get their kids taken from them as a result. JUST DO WHAT I'M TELLING YOU TO DO FFS 🤬

I don't get gamer rage almost ever, but damn does the Sims bring it out in me

ever since i realized i have free will, I've started eating pierogi and hot dogs with my hands and it's such a small thing but it's SO fun and weirdly enriching
