#LunarEclipse FAQ:

Q: Is it safe to look at?
A: Absolutely! Unlike a solar eclipse, there's no UNsafe time to look at a lunar eclipse.

Q: Do I need a telescope?
A: Nope! Best view is with naked eye. Just look up!

Q: Does the eclipse portend terror & doom?
A: Not at all! The news has that covered.

Hustlers Will Hustle, Boosters Will Boost: High-Speed Rail and the Problem of Arithmetic You know when you want to say nice things about a project β€” when you wish it could be a good idea, and you know some of the people working on it, and not all of them are unencumbered by ethics β€” but y...

Professor David Levinson, unquestionably a public transport advocate, questions Australia's Sydney to Newcastle "high speed rail" project. It seems to be repeating California's mistakes, starting with a too-rigid travel time goal. www.transportist.net/p/hustlers-w...

Opinion: Trump's military doctrine is insular, with short military commitments The objective isn't invasion, it's low-risk opportunism

Gen. Hayden likened air strikes to casual sex: they seem to offer gratification with little commitment. In our latest, Balkan, Richard, and I argue that the Trump admin's record of using military force suggests it likes gratification and is averse to commitment.

Someone should apply for this request for proposals and just propose adding a ton of bus service like they did in Brampton. You just have to be an American org to apply. I will help if you want!

Why did US and Israel attack Iran? Israel and the US believe Iran's regime is vulnerable, dealing with an economic crisis and the aftermath of protests.

But the Trump administration's own national security documents told me that regime change was no longer a foreign policy goal and that the Middle East would receive much less priority than before. www.bbc.com/news/article...

First impression: This is regime change, lots of ways for it to go wrong, a few it could go right, but at huge risk:

Yeah, its just that there's just fewer things on the lobbying side that AI can use tbh. I find that things that work in CS doesn't work in gov.

Yeah, thats why I think solar panels would probably a lot easier to justify.

26.02.2026 21:04 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I will point out that solar would probably work much better in this case. For one thing, panels would provide more energy per ship (25 year lifespan). And if you're looking to provide aid, it would be much more likely to be distributed to residents.
