#FridayFinish A nice, simple project for a palate cleanser. It's going to be part of a larger display with some similar art I bought from an Art-o-mat awhile ago. I changed the red in the hat to match that art better. #crossstitch

I'm mightily ticked off at the #WBC and most of live sports right now. All I want to do is watch the WBC. I'm willing to pay for that. What I don't want to do is sign up for Yet Another Service where I won't use 90% (and cancelling is one more thing to remember).

I was there, and when I saw him strike out Judge, I said "this kid just got a confidence boost like nothing else". He's going places :).

TIL that if you leave gummy coke bottles in a hot car for awhile, they melt into a large wad of gummy goo.

That ended pretty much how I thought it would. I'm pretty impressed that the #Rockies somewhat regular guys held their own against #WBC Team USA's lineup today.

Squishy. Kind of like a thick round of American cheese, but a little rubberier. The wrapper was like a cheese stick wrapper, but thinner so it could be twisted - but it was that kind of plastic, not what you'd find around a hard candy.

Not only do I remember these, but also just looking at the picture I can remember their exact taste and texture. Good times.

What’s a line delivery you’ll never forget?

I admit that for most projects I prefer white aida because white sets off the colors best to give me the look I want. (Not to mention all the full coverage projects!) But as seen on my new WIP, when color is needed, I am so there! 😊

New cross stitch project in progress that looks like it will be a critter (it will) in yellow and white on hand-dyed aida in mottled shades of green.

New project started 😊. Much smaller and confetti-less as a palate cleanser, but on darker hand-dyed aida because apparently I can't just do anything the easy way 🤣.
