I have to agree about the Rulebook. I found myself having to flick back and forth a lot during character creation. But glad to hear it works well in play.

Wild how people in TTRPGs think that our artform doesn't have a culture of critique. The TTRPG blogosphere is right there!

It's been active for decades. It has its own community awards (The Bloggies). A review-focused blog, @idlecartulary.itch.io 's Playful Void, is up for an ENNIE.

The Grinding Keep Review At one stage, the Elf cast a Magic Missile and it caused a rain of frogs on the entire party and all their enemies, almost killing several on both sides!

We played the DCC adventure, the Grinding Keep last night. It was good! We had a lot of fun with it and all declared we’d like to play more DCC. For a fuller review, check out the post on the dice pool dot com. #rpg #ttrpg #dcc

The Quantum NPC This works even better through the medium of TTRPGs than TV to be honest, because your imagination simply works around them, never focusing on their details.

He went from an unnamed red-shirt to one of the most memorable characters from the Star Trek TNG era. Chief O’Brien is my example for the Quantum NPC. Check out the new blog post on the dice pool dot com to see what I’m on about. #ttrpg #rpg #dnd #spelljammer #npc

If you're not familiar with the British & Irish Lions it's the rugby equivalent of when Mario and Bowser take a game off from murdering one another to play tennis or go-kart racing.

Going to be cheering on Marcus Smith like I didn't have a voodoo doll of him made in February

Two podcasts that are doing yeoman's work:
1) Blogs on Tape is collecting the best posts of the blogosphere and READING THEM OUT LOUD FOR YOU
2) Similarly, Tomos Revelados is doing the same thing in Spanish! (I don't speak it, but they recently translated my Copy and Paste Manifesto for an ep.)
