By the â80s and â90s, L.A. became an experimental hubâwhere light, surface, and perception intertwined in bold new ways. Bell explored glass and reflection; Alexander created resin forms inspired by color and city haze; Bengston infused painting with Californiaâs vibrant energy; Pashgian crafted luminous sculptures; and Orrâs works, infused with elements of alchemy and spirituality, played with presence and infinity.
