Okay...this didn't have to mean anything. A baby like that was quickly worried about unusual scents. But still, it was a baby Phanpy. And so she tried to look around...something in this side-street?

Rika yawned a bit, as she moved on, ready to slowly make her way on, but her Phanpy had other ideas. It stopped in the middle of the street, and raised its trunk, trying to smell something.

"Mh? What's the matter, smelling something tasty?", Rika said, as she looked at the little guy...before

It was an early morning in Mesagoza, and Rika enjoyed the order to go and fetch breakfast for those at the League...by taking her time and wandering along the boulevards on her way back, a young Phanpy trotting by her side...

She smirked a bit, winking at Jay.

A few years ago, she became the youngest Paldean Champion to that date, though she was quickly overtaken by three other people in recent years. As Paldean Champion is not a title one needs to defend, she's still recognized as one - even if "Member of the Elite Four" is actually the one she goes by.

Rika is the rather aloof (and lazy) secretary to the Pokémon League, fulfilling tasks like testing the Gyms, representing the League in official business, making Larry do the paper work, sleeping at her desk, etc.
