Another message from Mr Slater in France! Another action packed day in Lille 🇫🇷. A biscuiterie, a chocolaterie, a town trail and an evening bistro meal. Shortly back on the coach for the 4hr transfer to Cologne🇩🇪. All having a great time.

Year 9 are having a great time in Newquay!

Enrichment Week Day 2 is underway! Lots of different activities, including a conservation day, bake off, philosophy for children session, and a DT project. Some of year 7 are also out at Warwick Castle!

Students have also enjoyed a typical Spanish 'merienda' (afternoon snack) by eating churros con chocolate. Yummy!

An update from Mr Slater with Y8 in France: “Great first day. Dover to Dunkirk then visit to a Lille shopping centre and hypermarche. Just had a three course meal at F!unch and now back on the coach to the hotel. Students have all been fantastic, but will sleep well this evening”

Year 12 have arrived safely at Dale Fort and are working hard!

And we are finally in Bilbao! The flight journey went smoothly and we are now waiting for the coach to take us to the city center.

Enrichment Week is off to an amazing start with Year 7 Careers Day! Our students are diving into exciting sessions with Medical Mavericks and embarking on a fun careers treasure hunt around school!

Y10 learned an easy mayonnaise recipe and were challenged to turn a simple set of ingredients into a well presented plate…such creativity and precision knife skills!

What a fantastic morning! Our Celebration Assembly kicked off with an incredible performance from our overall House Music winner, Erin in Year 7. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate so many achievements across the entire school!

An extra special F1 Club meeting today, we welcomed Fergus Edwards who shared his racing experiences and what it's truly like to work at Silverstone!

Fantastic news! AGS has officially earned the Eco-Schools Green Flag Award with Distinction! A huge shout out to our incredible EcoSoc for all their hard work on green projects across school and within the local community– this achievement is thanks to them!

All set for Year 10 House Music! Every year group will have their hour in the spotlight today, and the talent is incredible.
