Stumbled on some wild salmon dumplings at our local international food store. I sautéed rocket in butter and mixed in the dumplings after I cooked them. What a great meal. 🍽

It's amazing how resilient nature can be at times. I had a restoration project where we got old native seeds from core samples in a degraded wetland. Many of them were still viable. And at my own place I have been amazed at the new native plants that have shown up as the wetlands return. 🌎 🌱

That's a good instinct. I used to buy thrift store clothes for my child if she answered "yes" when I asked, "Do you like it?" After buying her a few things she never used, I instituted a second question: "Would you wear it?" More than a few times she said "no" to the follow up. Like ≠ it's for me.
