Thunder Bay had a hell of an actual minor league team, the Thunder Hawks/Senators/Thunder Cats. They were Muskegon's big rival, after seeing Youngblood back in the day it connected because I'm my mind OF COURSE Thinner Bay were the bad guys. OG Shreveport Mudbugs had Forbes MacPherson, a TB player.

I grew up with hockey, loved playing it, and it is still my favorite sport to watch. Over the last 10 years or so, every time I try to do more than just watch a game I get reminded of how toxic the culture is, and it isn't just this, or things on a national level, it's on a local level as well.

The dunes are beautiful(unique even compared to the ones in West Michigan)as is the waterfall, but yeah there's nothing anyplace near there.

Yeah, they're made in Muskegon(Norton Shores). While Chobani bought them out recently, they employ a good number of folks locally and still have multiple add boards at the arena. To top it off they had former Muskegon Risers player Jube Rodriguez paint a mural at their office.

I took a sip, wasn't bad. Jess made a glass, she's doing okay an hour in.

NPSL, UPSL, USL2 alone are so vast. I've seen some incredible players who could have played at a higher level.

Stephan Caroll, recently retired from Detroit City, played here in Muskegon before going there. He was very good, but I would have guessed others ahead of him to have the career he had.
