I also hate fascism.

I’m the PI of the ERC-funded project “Brokers of Non-alignement”, which just kicked off last November. I like languages and digital history. I also like martial arts, but that’s not part of my work (for now).

A word about myself for those of you who might decide to follow my updates. I'm a historian of socialist Yugoslavia and the Cold War. I was born in Buenos Aires, but I've been living in Europe for about 10 years. I've been mostly based in Paris, and I've recently relocated to Ljubljana.

This is like me saying that I am closely monitoring the situation in Venezuela, literally nobody cares.

Remember today as the day in which any potential sympathy for Ukraine in the global South was forever lost, and when the EU finally lost any moral ground it had to support Kyiv against Russian aggression.

I know, Joris, I’ve lived there since 2015! But all of them were able to run for office while appealing their cases. That’s the difference and it will matter for the public.

They are doing politics, as they do everywhere.

Again, the question is not what you see, but rather the narrative that they will spin. It will look like there is a political elite full of people who have committed similar crimes but are still in politics and the only one who is excluded is MLP. It will deepen the public’s distrust in the system
