The 3rd paper related to my PhD is out! 🥳
It's published in Applied Corpus Linguistics and I explore a new way of combining corpus linguistics and cartography to profile (forensic) authorship, drawing on geolocated social media data to uncover regional language patterns.

There is a symposium on "Authorship and Individual Language Use" at RU Bochum in November. Eng & Ger accepted and deadline for 350 word abstracts is 30.05. I'll be giving a plenary (in German) as well!

Many thanks to Dana Roemling and Helmi Siiroinen for organising a panel on forensic linguistics in Finland. Although I can hardly claim to be a part of the body of Finnish language researchers, it was great to hear about what others do and to share a bit of international experience #AFinLa

I’m in Tampere joining a criminology conference and telling people about forensic linguistics (in Finnish!) ☺️
