We already had our first snow a few weeks ago. It’s a beautiful contrast to the colorful landscape and a reminder that winter is rapidly approaching.

A saber-toothed tiger terror bird gryphon. The beak has two 'sabers' on either side. The ears and wings are small, the fury is a brown and cream tawny-design, and the tail has a little nub with two black stripes sandwiching a white one. Ferocious, but also kind of cute... up until the moment she bites you. "Saber-toothed tiger" + "Terror Bird" led to this one being nicknamed "Terrortooth." The design was ultimately unused in the Gryphon Insurrection book series because wingtorn already explored the theme of flightless gryphons, and Hatzel's avian influence was changed to the extinct Haast's eagle.
