Disc golf, video games (retro, indie), hoops, sandwich enthusiast, dad.
If I ran for public office, this would be my "fellas agenda".
10.10.2025 19:26 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A fully assembled Lego Game Boy, next to a Lego cartridge of Super Mario Land. Both on a brown wooden table.
This was a blast to put together. A lot of neat details in the design, plus some clever tricks on the dpad and buttons.
10/10, highly recommend if you're a fan of the Game Boy.
Shit is going down at our local distillery
04.10.2025 23:32 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I'm the same way. I'm cheap, patient AF, and I have a ridiculous backlog to chew through anyway.
03.10.2025 19:43 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I have not seen Desperados 3 before--definitely giving that a closer look.
Loved Doom Eternal. Once I got a grip on the tools I got into a massive flow state and felt badass.
I'm actually playing Monster Train 2 rn-won a run last night with the mushroom people thanks to a 96 funguy stack. π
Has anybody picked up anything cool in the Steam Fall Sale? Looking for recommendations.

Cathy has to go. Period.
Unrivaled has shown what effective leadership looks like in women's hoops. A fantastic product that treats the players well.
Cathy has been given an absolute gift in the talent coming into the W, and she's so far up her own ass that's she's about to completely airball it.
At the risk of sounding like I'm trying to get into the Salty Spitoon, I did it just fine as a kid---with keyboard controls.

Itβs about mastering yourself before you even think about trying to tell others what to do.
I know who Pete Hegseth is.
Heβs the guy constantly doing bench reps in the weight room but thinks agility drills and footwork βis for pussiesβ
Heβs the guy pounding ten different steroid cocktails while ignoring his playbook
Heβs a practice squad all-star who wilts every time the lights come on
I did the playtest for the new game coming out and that's probably going to be a rare day-one buy for me.
Highly recommend Tetris Effect too if Lumines is your vibe.
Any kind of puzzle game that can get me into a flow state: brain off, solely focused on game.
-Tetris (Grandmaster and Effect, especially)
-Lumines Remastered
-Puzzle League/Panel de Pon
-Puyo Puyo (I admit I'm ass at this one though π)
In those homes, the Bible is the cleanest book they own. Untouched, unmarked, spine intact, pages pristine...a decorative element more than something to be used and read.
30.09.2025 16:44 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Knock on wood, but yesterday and today are the first days I've been able to walk pain-free in maybe 2 months.
F*** plantar fasciitis.

30.09.2025 00:57 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I suppose I was reading the question like I was inviting someone to play with me. Tourneys/leagues are different story, I have no choice in my card.
But if I invite someone to play a round, they're a friend. None of my friends think that way.
I've cut off entire limbs of my family tree for being MAGA. I'm not willingly participating in one of my escape activities with one.
Sounds harsh, but our life philosophies are completely oppositional.
Being able to keep score and loosely measure distance to pin with UDisc on my Garmin Watch is honestly pretty cool.
I turned off like 90% of the other notifications going to my watch though-- I don't need to be always tethered to my phone.
Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeveβs full quotes postgame re: officiating in loss to Mercury.

NFC North shit posting hits God-tier levels when the Packers lose. π
26.09.2025 13:55 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0There are too many banger games out right now. I'm still working through my Elden Ring playthrough, meanwhile Silksong is sitting on my backlog, Monster Train 2 wants me back, and Hades II went 1.0 today.
And Balatro has its hooks in me again too. π³
Out of all the good football that went on today, the only game I actually got to watch was Chiefs/Giants. π©

20.09.2025 22:50 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0My local area is a bit of a disc golf desert, with people needing to drive 45 minutes-ish to get to a decent course.
I might be the one domino that gets the rest to fall though--the city put out an announcement on our new course, and this morning I got contacted to consult on another city's course.
A massive confidence boost: when a guy that's designed 60+ courses in your state walks up to your teepad and says "This is a great hole. Fantastic job".
15.09.2025 21:34 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Today I had a course designer come to town and consult with me on the layout. After a few tweaks I think we'll have a 4.5/5 rated course when we're done. π
I got rained out before I could start outlining teepads, but I'm still hopeful to have the course in the ground by October.
I'm still a Lunar Owls fan, but that Hive logo is dope af.
