I had a bit of a heads up because I got a text from my brother letting me know he was on the last plane out. He was in Qatar until late last night.

I don't know how it happened but my parents got chicks for the first time last spring and got 12 expecting some would be roosters or maybe not survive, but all 12 are now adult hens and we've been up to our EYEBALLS in eggs since they started laying.

Super disappointing.
