I don’t really want to separate myself from purblethinkin, but I want to start fresh and approach my art with a different mindset. I don’t want to think about engagement and numbers anymore. I want to have fun creating things for myself, and if it makes one or two people happy, that’s enough. 🧡

Hi, it’s been a while! This was previously purblethinkin, but I have now completely changed everything and made this into a purely tmnt art account instead. If you ever wanna look back on my non-tmnt work, I still have my purblethinkin account up on tumblr with a decade’s worth of my art.

A mostly black and white illustration of Michelangelo and Donatello from Rise of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The illustration is black and white except for Michelangelo and Donatello's masks, with Michelangelo's being orange and Donatello's being purple, respectively. They're both in their signature gear. There are four different drawings in the illustration. In the top left, Donatello faces directly to the left, typing on his smartphone with a deadpan expression as Michelangelo hugs him from behind. Michelangelo's head faces away from the viewer, so his face cannot be seen. In the top right area of the illustration, there is a seperate drawing of Michelangelo hugging Donatello from the front; Michelangelo's chin rests on Donatello's chest as he looks up at him with a warm smile. Donatello looks away to the side as he slightly frowns, making a somewhat grumpy expression. In the bottom half of the illustration, there is a visual sequence with two different drawings. In the first drawing, Donatello is kneeling down and wrapping his arms around Mikey, who sits on the ground, slightly frowning with a surprised expression. The next image in the sequence shows Donatello resting his chin on Mikey's head, holding him in a soft hug as he looks to the side, the smallest of smiles on his face. Mikey grins wide, showing his teeth, and hugging Donnie back in response. At the very top of the illustration, there is a tiny doodle of Mikey and Donnie's heads; Mikey has little dog ears drawn on him, and Donnie has little cat ears drawn on his head in place of his goggles.

Wrapped around his head is a purple durag and a pair of silver headphones worn on top of it, covering his ears. He's looking down at his purple phone in his left hand, with his right hand shoved in his hoodie pocket. His thick eyebrows are furrowed, his mouth frowning in a serious expression. On the right of Donatello is Raphael, who stands taller than all of them. He has amber-brown skin and is a bit stout. He has bushy eyebrows and thick sideburns. Wrapped around his head is a red durag. He's wearing a large, deep red shirt and has white sports bandages wrapped around his hands.
