Devastating. I can see 2026 isn’t going to be any easier than last year.

To a lot of folks, this just looks like someone who lost their dog, a pet. For me, he was one of the only stable things in my life. If you have fur babies, give them extra loving for me today 🖤

Today marks 1 year, which has honestly felt like 5 years. The grief that has come with this has brought me to some dark places. Yet, somehow, I still feel like I haven’t processed any of it. This opened up a lot of unprocessed past emotions and the depression has been a real struggle this past year.

If you think I shot a dirty look at you while I was at the gym, I most likely did 🤭

Today has been one of the more difficult days. It feels like the beginning of something so much worse. I’m grateful to have had friends reach out to check in on each other.
