Understanding how #CRISPR cuts DNA is key to safer gene editing. Researchers in the Roukos lab developed BreakTag, a method that maps genome editing cuts with unprecedented detail - showing where, how often, and how DNA ends form.

We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of our colleague Dr Nard Kubben. He joined IMB as a Group Leader in 2021, bringing a passion for understanding ageing & improving human health. Our heartfelt condolences go to his family, friends & all who knew him.
