being the eldest daughter is truly so exhausting and emotionally draining - and i’m so tired of being expected to be available and helpful whenever they need me, but a thought can’t be spared for me when i need help

it literally hurts, it feels like i’m screaming into the void when i call out racism against asians. i’ve experienced horrible racism from many different races including the ones that expect our support when they are on the receiving end… but when it’s us? crickets.

and then when asians speak up about it, we’re labelled anti-black or told ‘it’s not that deep’ - but we know if the slur was directed towards chelley, they would not be expected to give grace… so why am i supposed to? it’s just so exhausting seeing racism against asians be invalidated
