This is only in my Lord X interpretation which is mostly headcanons for that guy but

if he sees someone

who's upset, he'll gladly ask what's the matter and talk them through with it

The reason why there's no modern vessels is because X isn't a fan of anything past Sonic Advanced as much as he is the Classic Sonic content around the 90's
Hence him changing vessels in his transition to Lord X to look more like Classic Sonic
