After I had a few days to let everything sink in & reflect, it is clear that the meticulous planning, dedication, & passion of the organizers and the entire team turned TEDxBerlin into an immersive experience that sparked conversations, fostered connections, and celebrated the power of ideas.

The event, organized by the phenomenal team at the
Student Network for Open Science, showcased the power of #collaborative platforms in shaping the dialogue around #OpenScience & its intersection with feminist values. I thank them so much for inviting me and making this all happen!

I also want to extend my thanks to the exceptional speakers who contributed immensely: Dr. Anne-Sophie Waag, Laura Rothfritz, Klaudija Daugelaite - you're all awesome! Their insights were inspiring and added depth to our exploration of feminism, science, and academia.

The Fishbowl conversation that followed was my highlight. Discussing the state of feminism in #science, answering questions, & sharing advice made for a very rewarding session. I attended a few Fishbowls, but this was my first time actively being part of it - it was so fun!

Happy to report that Saturday's "Feminism. Science. Dialog." symposium was an absolute success! It was an honor to deliver the keynote talk on "How Diverse is Academia?" The discussions and all the questions truly made it a great experience.

Events like "Hack The Wiki Gap" remind us of the importance of empowering women and ensuring their accomplishments are recognized and documented. As a mentor, I am grateful to have been a part of this mission to rewrite history.

As we embark on this exciting new semester together, I'm confident that the experiences we share will not only broaden our horizons but also create lasting memories & friendships.

The diversity of perspectives, cultures, & backgrounds that these students bring is truly remarkable. This not only enriches our academic community but also provides a unique opportunity for cross-cultural exchange and collaboration.

I ensured they know how to register for courses, receive ECTS and how to transfer their grades at the end of their stay. This is always one of the longest and biggest presentations during our International Orientation Days - and I love it! I truly enjoy being on stage and I always have a great time!
