There was an abosultely majestic thunder storm outside last night. I stayed up late just watching the lightning slash through the sky. 10/10, had chills

Heatwave is already here and it is just mid-June. What the hell will be July like???

(5/5) 8 out of ten. Minus one point because my shoes are still completely wet and I don't know when they'll dry and minus one because I had to dry my wet floors afterwards.

Otherwise, peak thunderstorm experience. Could have been more lightning and closer thunder

(4/?) I almost lost one of my headphones in the pouring rain. When I made it back to dorm, I was completely soaked. Dripping.

It was wild. The andrenaline rush it gave me is something I don't think I will experience ever again.

(3/?) A wind picked up, so STRONG it was lifting my backpack off my back and twisted my ubrella with so much force I thought it would break it. Then in seconds the ground was covered in at least 2 cm of water if not more. And my shoes filled with water

I was studying outside when the sky went dark. A few big raindrops started falling. I quickly packed my stuff and ran but the storm was faster (2/?)

I have just survived one of the most terrifying thunderstorms I have ever seen. Yes. I was outside when it hit.

There really doesn't need to be a season 2, the story wrapped up well. But, the writers did leave a small sneaky door open for themselves with something referenced in episode 1.

So maybe there will be a season 2. Apparently the ratings were high enough for that when the series was on TV

You could tell the writers didn't just call in but really put effort and heart into the series

Would definitelly recomend

I finished watching the whole series. Good shit. The latter episodes weren't really horror but it was still very fun. The writing was really good, the story was anchored well and the 8 episodes felt like enough to tell the story

(ps. I totally didn't cry during the last episode. No sir)

I've finished watching 6 out of the 8 episodes of "Záhadné Případy" ("Mysterious Cases"). I really enjoyed this so far. Even the weaker episodes are pretty solid and the "monster of the week" is varied enough to not get stale

It also does some scenes worse written series tend to ommit. And the characters make logical decisions. The mystery in the first episode is also pretty well done

I love thunderstorms

The pacing in the beginning was a little too slow imo, but once the plot kicked off, no scene felt redundant

I started watching "Záhadné případy" (2024), (aka. "Mysterious cases") today and it is not what I expected. The writing is pretty decent so far tho

One of these days I will be so fed up with the lack of mystery/horror shows in my first language and decide to just make one myself

Or at least another supernatural creature/entity mystery show. There is so very little of them in my first language

Another day passes without an announcement for second season of Lovec (2024-). I know not many people liked it, and I also hand some gripes with the writing, but I still hold out hope we will get a season 2

Lately I watched Wolf (1994) and The Witches of Eastwick. Such fun movies. Jack Nicholson is so good at playing absolute wierdos
