It is so damning of US news media that so many outlets refuse to just straight up say that Senator Tim Sheehy assaulted an activist.

He did not "help" Capitol police. They did not need his help. He wanted to assault the guy and did. He should resign.

never, ever, ever, ever accept "how will you pay for it?" as an argument against social programs.

The Pentagon has burned through so many missiles in the Iran exchange that Trump is dragging Lockheed and Raytheon CEOs into the White House like a failing factory boss demanding overtime. The military admits the Iran strike consumed more long-range munitions than 4 years of Ukraine.
Trump is posting fantasies about "unlimited supply" while Raytheon can barely promise to "eventually" reach 1,000 Tomahawks a year and the Pentagon only budgeted 57 for 2026.
The industrial base is so hollowed out they're threatening contractors with punishment if they don't ramp up, even though the system physically can't produce at wartime tempo.
America just showed the world that one regional confrontation with Iran drained decades of planning assumptions.

March 4, 2026 – β€œIn every CBA negotiation, the goal of the league and teams is to divide the players. These negotiations are no different. We remain united and focused on delivering a transformational CBA for all members of this Union, and are committed to negotiating for as long as it takes.

Our Union’s nearly unanimous vote in December to authorize us to call a strike, if and when necessary, was not taken lightly. It was made with complete faith and trust in ourselves and our negotiating committee, led by Executive Director Terri Carmichael Jackson and President Nneka Ogwumike, to represent all players as we work to build a W that truly puts players first. Nothing has changed. That decision, and the results of our recent player survey, reaffirm that the current league proposal is not worth taking.

Despite our differences and tough moments, we must make crystal clear that we are focused, we are resolute, and we are together. We want to play basketball in 2026. We want to be in front of our fans playing the game that we love. We will not stop fighting. There is no WNBA without the players.”

What did they find? Millionaires did not flee; the states actually saw an increase in the number of high‑net‑worth residents and generated additional revenue.

And two of these three sources are in no way "left-leaning." One is.

Why do their numbers all fall in a pretty little line? Because facts mean more than fear.

Americans stranded in the Middle East say the State Department hotline Marco Rubio told them to call plays a recorded message warning: β€œPlease do not rely on the U.S. government for assisted departure or evacuation at this time.”

But the judge this morning drew a hard line at stopping the protesters from even claiming self-defense against an officer who drew his gun when chasing down an unarmed protester.

Those monitoring say this trial has the potential to criminalize dissent in a way that harkens back to the Red Scare.

Nothing illegal about them yet! FBI are a bunch of pedophile protectors, of course they use their powers to abuse protestors instead of arresting billionaire child sex traffickers.

A few thoughts during this extremely short break from a very cramped courtroom:

1. The FBI is making a lot of the anarchist and leftist "zines" they found at people's homes.

2. Answering questions, FBI agents keep admitting there's nothing illegal about this literature or the guns they seized.

IRGC Destroys Second US THAAD System in Gulf, Wipes Out UAE Radar and $1.1 Billion Qatar Early Warning Shield β€” Iran Declares Missile Dominance - Defence Security Asia IRGC precision strikes reportedly destroy a second US THAAD system, its UAE radar, and Qatar’s $1.1 billion early warning system, exposing fractures in America’s Gulf missile defence architecture and ...

so Iran has apparently knocked out and destroyed / disabled to some extent two U.S. THAAD batteries

This is a massive deal. Aside from the expense, this is not a weapon system we just have a ton of lying around. You don't replace these easily.

Every reasonable person should pick an office to run for and do it. We'd be in a better spot if elected office were seen as a temporary but inevitable civic responsibility like jury duty.

Someone asked me about why the WNBA says the league doesn't generate enough revenue. I said "Because the league won't admit that it sucks at marketing & couldn't sell water in a desert. So they blame the players & say the product is inferior." Meanwhile #Unrivaled is proving them wrong. #TakeMyMoney

Watched some Unrivaled tonight and it’s kinda nuts how good it is. The quality of the play, the buy-in from the players and fans, the flow of the game… what do you mean this is an offseason 3-on-3 league they invented last year???

It seems like the Portland Helium is trying to hide the fact theyre hosting a pro Nazi/Ice comedian, they have 5 shows listed as linked in the thread below. Disappointed they'd book someone like this, I hope Portland people make their voices heard and let helium know we don't want him here.

I guess they have hosted him before. Guess it’s a chain of clubs. They have locations all over. They hosted him in October and they are hosting shows with him in Atlanta as well. The Portland shows don’t show up on their website but all the ticket sellers are still showing up and you can buy tickets

Amazon Data Centers on Fire After Iranian Missile Strikes on Dubai Some AWS services are down in the Middle East. Recovery is unclear as it requires 'careful assessment to ensure the safety of our operators,' according to Amazon.

NEW: Around 60 services tied to Amazon Web Services are down in the region, affecting web traffic in the UAE and Bahrain. The outage comes following Iranian attacks on the UAE as retaliation for US and Israeli strikes on Iran.
