Even at high occupancy, it would take as many as 34-56 cars to carry the same number of people, plus all the road space required to maintain separation between all of those cars. By introducing cars to bus lanes, you diminish the capacity of the lane.

1. Turning bus lanes into "HOV" lanes is effectively turning them into car lanes.
2. HOV is not high capacity. Cars (whether single-occupant or passenger-carrying) are still the least space-efficient form of road transportation. Buses are high capacity: a regular bus can hold 68 passengers, ...

Seeing people jump in to argue that we should defend porn b/c they use “porn” to go after other stuff. Yes … AND
“Porn” — explicit representation of sex — is good, in the same way that books are good. Some authors are offensive, but as a whole, it’s good to let people access their sexuality.
