I think 3 and the REmake offer up larger initial areas that require a tad more backtracking. On repeats, most of Rhodes Hills can be played without revisiting rooms/hallways.

For REmake specifically, the crimson heads have a stronger presence.

Sonic & Blaze have an "opposites attract" sort of thing, though I don't see Sonic as the sort of character that'd be romantically interested in anyone. Silver & Blaze don't have real chemistry besides a basic friendship that seemingly just exists because "well, they hung out in that one game".
