Today we celebrate everyone who chooses kindness and compassion for animals, every single day. 💚
A vegan lifestyle means proudly standing against animal cruelty, reducing your environmental footprint and showing that a compassionate future is possible.

A young pig individual looks up through the metal bars of the cradle that he has been forced into in a slaughterhouse. Shortly the cradle will be lowered into the gas chamber and he will be brutally and excruciatingly painfully killed.
You falsely represent killing me as unfortunate but necessary, as if it’s a sacrifice for some greater purpose. As if stuffing your face with the dead flesh of my dismembered, butchered body is something more than sating your petty, selfish nonessential desires.

Despite para 1 of the plan: “reducing our methane emissions at home & globally is a
powerful tool to rapidly slow down the rate of global warming …The UN Environment
Programme’s Global Methane Assessment highlights that cutting human-caused
methane emissions could act as a “climate emergency brake”
Methane is over 80x more potent than CO2 as a greenhouse gas over 20 yrs. The biggest source of it in the UK is from farmed animals but a new methane action plan fails to tackle the root cause. Instead of tweaking management & feeds, the plan should have stretch-targets for fewer animals.

Instead, tax jet fuel, put VAT on plane fares & impose frequent flier levies. As for private jets, ban them.
Imagine this, and places just like it all across Ireland, once again covered in its natural habitat of *wildly* species-rich, spellbinding, rainforests.
By simply making it worth farmers' while to remove their few sheep, we could so easily magic wand them back into existence.
The Greens are steering British politics right now.
Those still referring to a "Polanski bounce" are underestimating it.
The spike in attention after Zack became leader? A bounce.
The sustained membership growth, media appearances, polling surge? That's a movement, just getting started.
This response to a petition against airport expansion shows how the UK government’s “sustainable aviation” fantasy is riddled with misguided tech optimism. It should stumble on the environmental parameters that it claims will apply especially if it truly follows the Climate Change Committee advice
