It hasn’t been voted on by the Senate yet, and even if it does a whole lot of bills (even those that should pass) never get taken up by the other house due to time. The legislature here is pretty dysfunctional…

I’m mostly pretty insulated from it in terms of who I know and interact with (even indirectly) IRL, so it’s pretty much only when I turn on regular news (rare now) or come here and see people complaining about it (as I do all too often).

Even a lot of automatic citations by putting the DOI into eg Zotero (presumably created by the journals themselves entering the fields) are wrong in some way. Always need to check yourself...
