The cabinet secretary admitted, at the EIS AGM last June, that commitments on class contact time should already have been delivered. Almost 8 months later and we are still waiting for any firm proposals on how it might be delivered to emerge from the Scottish Government and COSLA.

Students were shocked to learn of student support services and academic staff job cuts at ENU

"We aren't being told anything by our university. Students just find out when the member of staff has already gone. People are worried how this will affect their course and the support they can get."

Fife schools are facing real terms cuts of ยฃ8.4 million next year, ยฃ14.2 million in 2027-2028 and ยฃ20.8 million by 2028-2029. By the end of the first year, schools will have lost the equivalent funding for around 210 pupil support assistants. Please share this public meeting invitation widely.
