Actually, if the camera is locked down on a tripod & your 2 “singers” don’t physically interact, you don’t need a green screen unless you want a different background & can do it with a mask or a wipe at 50%. Davinci Resolve is cool but a bit hard to learn. I use it at work for editing quick videos.

The universe is stunning. It’s amazing that it can be imaged from my yard.

A colorless monochrome star field containing an almost edge-on galaxy on the left. There is a group of faint galaxies on the right side of the frame known as Stephan’s Quintet.

I should also mention this is a cropped view of the other side of the frame to the Stephan’s Quintet image I posted a few days ago. Here’s a 5 min sub of the full frame:

A star field of white blue, amber and red stars shows a large galaxy viewed almost edge on. The central core glows and younger blue stars encircle it along with gas and dust. Just above it are 4 smaller galaxies that make up the visual group.

At about 49 million light years from Earth, NGC 7331 and friends are wishing you all a great Thanksgiving. This was an 18 hour LRGB capture taken from my yard, under Bortle 5 skies in central MA using an 8” SCT at 1422mm focal length. Happy Thanksgiving! 🔭 #Astrophotography

A deep sky view of a galaxy cluster named Stephan’s Quintet. There are 4 galaxies clustered together with a 5th galaxy appearing to the upper right of the cluster. One of the 4 galaxies in the cluster is Blue while the others are amber and white and have interesting tidal features where the galaxies interact together.

Here’s a crop of Stephan’s Quintet taken from my yard with an 8” SCT. While these make up a visual cluster, the blue galaxy, NCG 7320, is closer to us at about 40 million ly from Earth. The other galaxies are gravitationally bound & are a whopping 300 million ly away. 🔭 #Astrophotography

I agree people are being overly optimistic about the “Blue Wave”. The GOP will steal the midterms. There is too much at stake for them to lose. I believe the 2024 election was rigged & the Harris campaign had every legal right to challenge the results but they just rolled over & accepted them.

I’m taking delivery of a new scope on Sunday so unfortunately I expect clouds for the next several weeks. 😬
