Today’s my last day of prep for the 10K & tomorrow we travel up to Wrexham for the race on Sunday. I’ve been taking Paula Radcliffe’s advice & stocking up on the carbs…but that’s just normal for me anyway! It’s been a busy day, so here’s one I made earlier that reminds us what this is all about.

Only a few days to go & my prep has been stymied by 2 things – my knees! They’ve hurt me a lot so I’ve had to rest ‘em, nurse ‘em…slowly get back to jogging…just a K or 2…mustn’t mess ‘em up again…on Sunday they’ve got to carry me 10K in…90mins…it’s touch and go! @investinmeresearch.bsky.social

I’ll be explaining our work to bring together an international group of clinician scientists to form a working group on clinical trials for ME, and meeting with the young investigators to discuss the efforts in the USA supporting research on Long COVID and ME.” 4/5

This conference provides the opportunity for researchers, clinicians and those impacted by ME to come together to listen, learn, collaborate and move forward to find the treatments that are so desperately needed. 3/5
