i generally would have no issue w this either btw, ive worked professionally and have done mistakes before and im very much used to corrections and revisions, my issue is that in some environments ppl are very quick to assume you had bad faith which sometimes feels unfair when the ref isnt v clear

stuff like having text on the ref telling me a character is fat but the drawn part of the ref telling me otherwise, is this a case in which i just assume you're still in your learning journey to depict this readable or is this a case of a word meaning different things to the two of us or2

im not talking about the references being professional, i would never expect that from anyone, especially not from a (supposedly) chill environment like an online drawing game, but about being readable as what they're supposed to be

im talking about artfight im sorry im sorry im sorry or2

i really really really dont wanna be mean but i think the ppl habiting the spaces most vigilant about their characters being drawn exactly as they've imagined them also tend to not have very good references of those characters
