While this transition has been in the works for a while, I look forward to resting, resetting, and rebalancing, and then eventually working in policy, always with our infection-associated chronic condition community on my mind.

In the wake of the new administration, some of this progress may be at risk and it may be even more difficult than usual to achieve what we deserve. Remember through this time that there’s immense power in community.

Today is my last day in my role at @patientled.bsky.social. I am honored to have served in this role as part of the #LongCovid movement the last 5 yrs. While there’s still much to be done to achieve support, treatment, & cures for all, I’m so proud of the progress we’ve made b/c patients led the way

Given those commitments, RFK must push back on his boss for the actions taken in this EO. Advisory Committees are critical for good policy & oversight, providing perspective from those impacted by policies. So many crucial committees & programs were attacked in this EO. Another devastating blow.
