The Falcons are going to play the NFL on FOX injury music the whole season.

Riq not signing with anyone yet has been the only real surprise this far re Seahawks.

Going to bad faith Seahawks free agency so hard and determine that all retained FAs who were here before 2024 were Schneider guys and the ones who weren't were Pete guys.

It's the enshittification of MMA as a whole. The UFC is most egregious but they're enshittified to a jaded fanbase while still selling out arenas regularly. They have long given up the pretense of trying to be mainstream/for everyone.

But the secondary, non-regional MMA product is also junk, too.

Damn even that didn't happen. Cooked product.

My feed out here in uh... we'll say somewhere else, was totally fine.

And the cards still sell out regularly. But the fights themselves are less memorable.

Holloway-Oliveira ought to be fun but the actual process to get there is tedious.

I truly cannot get through even the bigger UFC shows anymore. Being on at an earlier time is essentially the most redeeming value this promotion has managed recently.

Covid unironically was so huge for them because they realized they could still cook without a crowd and the fans would watch any old show.

If this was a regular UFC main card in like New Jersey or whatever it'd feel like a more than solid show. But they promise a White House spectacular and it's just normal?

Michael Chandler getting a prominent spot in the big 2026 just to get smashed up!

Hilarious that the only American of the four title participants on that UFC WH is basically destined to get bludgeoned.

I think Riq has a shot. Shaheed would be a stunner given the contracts Pierce and Doubs would likely get.

On September 11, 2001, Strickland and singer Chico DeBarge had criminal complaints for assault filed against them after a fight outside a TGI Friday's in Maryland. Strickland's portion of the case was dismissed in 2004.

Rod Strickland just led Long Island University to the first NCAA Tournament bid for 2026, and it's through looking up his Wikipedia page that I found this out:

Opening paragraph is all about a Brave Little Toaster?

Like, Boye Mafe is not getting $22 million/year. Let's live in reality.

Obligated to write an explainer to shut down the Seahawks fans who earnestly think Seattle can get multiple third-round comp picks from their top FAs.

He's not spent is what I mean.

Deni essentially run into the ground. Sharpe is just unlucky but I don't feel like he's developed as well as hoped.

Not sure Cronin is a lock for next year under new ownership. There's no need for a full scale teardown but this roster doesn't have a clear upward trajectory.

They need more young talent that can shoot. They need their own Kneuppel. This defense has definitely dropped off.

Looking ahead really to next year with a new coaching staff and hopefully a firmer direction for this roster.

I think Dame has legit made more 3s from the shootout appearance than Scoot has made in actual games put together.

Need the Seahawks to play a football game again soon because I can't tolerate too much more of Scoot Henderson playing basketball for my favorite team.

I think a sneaky FA option for the Seahawks is Montaric "Buster" Brown from the Jaguars. Been getting better every year and is only 26.

Would be an outside CB option instead of slot.

He had an extensive track record of good to great play. Just got injured his last year in Dallas and the only concern was whether that cooked him.

With the cap space the Seahawks have I truly hope their approach to FA is closer to finding the next Nwosu than reviving the Gary type players.

And of course, I'll still gladly accept ring chasers who aren't spent like Mack.

Quick pressure rate while playing alongside Parsons for more than half the year was so bad.

06.03.2026 19:06 — 👍 1    🔁 0    💬 0    📌 0

Yeah it's why him moving like he's 45 was jarring. Totally different player lately compared to early career.

06.03.2026 18:51 — 👍 0    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

No. Dude was moving in quicksand last year.
