Australian actor Guy Pearce condemned Israel’s actions in a viral post early Thursday, saying he has “never been so disgusted by a group of people” as he is by Israelis after witnessing what he called their “utter disregard and disdain for Palestinian life.” Pearce wrote that Israel’s conduct is “shameful” and pushes humanity “further backwards with every vile act.” His comments, viewed more than a million times, accompanied footage from Al Jazeera that show Israeli soldiers standing around a 15-year old child in the West Bank after they shot him. Israeli forces blocked medics from reaching him until he died.
