Went to Lunchbox Theatre’s “Ribstone” written & performed by Christopher Hunt. History, humour, & music in an outstanding production. I was drawn to it because of the Viking Ribstone in NE AB which is one of my favourite places. Check it out in “Wildlife, Landscapes, & Geology”. buff.ly/SFu7aUH

In the last 60 million years, up to 7 km have been eroded in the Banff and Jasper NPs area and nearly 20 km in Yoho NP. That gave us all that great mountain scenery. Check it out in "Rocks, Ridges, and Rivers: Geological Wonders of Banff, Yoho, and Jasper National Parks". buff.ly/Ma1xez1

During the last ice age, ~25,000 to 15,000 yrs ago, the ice was kilometres thick. There were virtually no plants, no wildlife, and no soil. They have all come back since that time. It is pretty amazing. Check it out in "Wildlife, Landscapes, and Geology". buff.ly/Ma1xez1
